My Photo Shoots

Here are some pics of me from a couple of photo shoots that were taken by my amazingly talented nanny, Jen! She and her husband Joe have their own photography business and they are fabulous.

These first couple of shots are from when I was much younger, about 9 months I think. They were taken at Laguna Beach, my favorite place ever! And it's only 20 mintues from our place - lucky me!

I saw a model do this pose in a magazine once so I thought I'd try it. Me and my best bud Jude! He is so great, he always shares his toys with me! Sometimes we play games - here Jude is pretending to be a dog eating the toy. What, we learned it from Lexi and Jude's dog Napoleon! Love, Ellie xoxo

My first Christmas

Here are some pictures from my first Christmas! It was so unbelievably fun. My mom and dad kept telling me about this fantastic holiday and it totally surpassed all of my expectations. I loved spending quality time with my family and I got so many cool boxes and bows. Presents? Oh yes, I believe I got some but I liked the wrapping paper the best.

Here I am at my first Novena. It's a Colombian tradition where we sing lots of songs and I even got to play an instrument! I can't believe how big my family is... it's so much fun to get together with everyone! Most of the songs were in Spanish so I had to ask my dad what a lot of the words were.

Don't I look so much like my dad in this picture?! It's uncanny!

This is a picture from Christmas morning. My dad surprised my mom with a bunch of Canadian candies that she misses. Her favorite was a HUGE bag of wine gums! Oh, and Turkish Delight... a weird jelly candy covered in chocolate. Honestly, my mom has weird taste sometimes. But my dad drove all the way to Pasadena to get them for her. How sweet is that?

I love lounging with my best friend Lexi. Honestly, I love that dog so much. Hey, do you like my new leg warmers? They make crawling on the carpet so much more comfortable. My mom says she had some in the 80s, whatever that means.

Here I am with my Auntie Jess on Christmas day. I love her so much. We had such a great time hanging out at Uncle Kaare and Auntie Kathryn's house. We even had prime rib! Yummmmm... I love meat. My dad says I'm just like him in that sense. My mom tries to feed me food that she loves - like blueberry pancakes - and I'm just not that into them to be honest.

Here I am with my Abuelita Clara - can you believe there is a TREE in the HOUSE!? My jaw almost dropped to the floor when I saw it. And there are a bunch of baby toys all over it! Christmas is so cool. And... check out the view! Uncle and Auntie's house is on a cliff overlooking the ocean - so beautiful. We even saw whales swimming off in the distance! It was just such a perfect, beautiful day.

Auntie Kathryn and I totally have the same taste in sunglasses. Don't we look alike?

OK well that was my first Christmas in a nutshell... I loved every minute! I did miss all of my Canadian family though. Next year I'll be there for Christmas, I promise! Love, Ellie xoxo

This is me helping my mom unload the dishwasher. Keep in mind I was only 9 months at this point. Obviously, I'm much better at helping now.

When I was 9 months, I had my own language. My parents thought it was hilarious and would follow me with a video camera everywhere I went. I only used it for a week to get them off my back.

Here I am on New Year's Eve with my Auntie Stephanie. It was such a fun party at my Auntie Kathryn and Uncle Kaare's house. But man, I'm still recovering from all of the fun!
