I'm half Canadian - awesome eh?

Hi, it's me Ava again!  So I told you before that I have been fortunate enough to go on an airplane twice!  When I was 3 months old, I went to visit my homeland of Canada.  I had such a great time meeting all of my family and friends there.  Here are some pics from our visit!

Who knew that my dad had family in Oakville too - here is Ella with our cousin Silvana who literally lives 5 minutes from Grandma and Grandpa's house!  How crazy is that?

I also got to meet some of mommy's friends from University - they all came to meet me which meant so much to us!  Here is my mom with Aly, Ella, Jo and Val.

I can't wait to go back again soon!

OK that's it, I'm taking over here...

Hi.  I'm Ava Kathryn Dominguez.  I was born on May 17th, 2011.  Since I just turned 5 months, I have decided that I'm old enough to take over this blog.  I mean seriously, nobody else has been doing it lately so why shouldn't I?  My sister, Ella, has just started preschool so she is a bit busy to be working on this full time.  But hopefully she will do some guest posts for me when I am predisposed (learning to roll over / sit etc...).

So what can I tell you? First of all, here I am!


This picture was literally taken 5 minutes ago while I was trying out this new "Bumbo" chair.  I love it!  So much more fun than lying on a blanket all the time.

Here is my family!  You may not even recognize my big sis Ella, since the last photo of her was from over a year ago.  How embarrassing - I apologize on behalf of my family for the time lapse!


Anyway, I must say that my first five months of life have been great.  I have already been on a plane twice - once to visit my family in Canada and just last week we were in Boston, MA.  My parents were there for a conference, but we also got to hang out with so much family!

Here are my cousin Evin, my Auntie Bengisu, me, my other cousin Mariana, Abue (who was so nice to come and babysit!), and my sis Ella.  Yes, we all stayed at Evin's house - it was so much fun!

More big news is that I am no longer the youngest cousin in the family!  I got to meet Matthew Aidan Castro (MAC), who was born in September.  Look how little he is in my dad's arms!  He is so cute, and so lucky to have such wonderful parents, Beto and Luzka.  Also in this pic - my Auntie Stephanie (with Ella) and my Auntie Kathryn (holding me!), and my Uncle Kaare holding my cousin Kye.  I am so lucky to have so many kids in my family to play with!

I love this pic of me and my Tia Ines.  She always makes me smile!
